Secret talents/interesting fact about you:
-
I love freediving and hiking.
How did you get into MTB? I joined a mountain bike program ran over the school holidays when I was 12-years-old. I was not a sporty kid or fit at the time, but I loved being outdoors and the sense of accomplishment I felt from learning new skills each week. It naturally continued from there, where in the following years I eventually got my own MTB, and my Dad and I road tripped/camped all over Australia racing the National Series.
Favourite track/place to ride: Maydena and Les Gets, France have been my favourite riding destinations so far.
Pre-race rituals/lucky charms: I take some time to myself to relax and I always braid my hair race day.
Future goals:
-
Continue to love riding, squeezing in every bit of racing I can
-
Graduate from university and make a career in environmental science
-
Gain more international race experience (XC or Enduro)
-
Ride at Whistler, Queenstown and/or Derby
